On the Trail of Nature
Experience one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Alps in the Texel Group Nature Park: The 90 km Merano High Trail takes you through stunning high mountain landscapes, past the Spronser Lakes and centuries-old alpine farms.
This fantastic hiking area is easily accessible via the “Unterstell” cable car.
For families and leisurely hikers, the mountain hut trails on Naturns Nörderberg are ideal. From Aschbach or Vigiljoch to the mountain huts at altitudes of up to 2700 meters, you’ll experience an unforgettable mountain world – perfect for every hiking enthusiast!
Below the platform Unterstellis the via ferrata “Knott”.
The via ferrata offers easy routes, difficult passages, exposed routes and technical sections and can be climbed at any time of day, because the ascent and descent are short.
In Naturns, you’ll find numerous gentle hiking trails, perfect for families and leisurely hikers. With stunning views of the Adige Valley and the surrounding mountains, you’ll enjoy the beauty of South Tyrol with every step.

These beautiful old paths along the irrigation channels, dating back to ancient Roman times, offer an outstanding opportunity to explore the surroundings without steep inclines. Leisurely hikers, walkers, and families with children can enjoy easy-to-navigate trails on the mountain slopes, accompanied by stunning panoramic views.

From Naturns, Lake Resia is an unforgettable destination for cyclists. The route along the Vinschgau Cycle Path takes you through picturesque landscapes, past orchards, castles, and charming villages, until you reach the iconic lake with its submerged bell tower.
Once there, a circular route awaits, offering spectacular views of the glacial world of the Ortler Alps. Whether on an e-bike or a road bike, Lake Resia combines nature, culture, and cycling enjoyment in perfect harmony.
